My goodness this last year has past by so quickly ... We had been talking to quite a few different breeders in a large area of the West . We decided we were most comfortable with Stansbury Mtn Retrievers due to them being so fourth coming with all answers to every question we had ! And we had a lot.
It had been over 14 years since we had a puppy and it’s almost like we forgot everything and we were bringing home our first born all over again! But they were wonderful.
We loved that we visited their home and saw all these gorgeous pups with their Mum, Addy. .It was difficult to only take one ! Henry is such an amazing addition to our family. We live in Florida but at that time we were traveling the West in our RV for 5 months. We get so many compliments on Henry .

We made the best decision purchasing our golden from Stansbury Mountain Retrievers. We bought Peaches a year ago and love her very much! Stansbury Mountain Retrievers were very knowledgeable with the questions I had and provided me with great resources to make sure Peaches had everything she needed. Peaches has grown to be such a loving companion. She is great with children and other animals. Peaches was extremely easy to train and has been very obedient. Her health has been amazing and not a single problem to report. She loves to run and play and maintains a very active lifestyle. I had the opportunity to purchase my dog from Stansbury Golden Retrievers. They had recently had a litter of eight puppies. I was able to come over and choose from the puppies who were still available. I was able to choose “green boy” named after the temporary collar they had given him to tell him from the rest of the puppies. It was still a couple of weeks before I could bring him home, but I was able to arrange times when I could visit and see my sweet boy. He has been such a joy in our household. We’ve since named him “Boss.” He’s very smart and has the best temperament. He is a healthy boy. I’ve not seen any signs of any disease or disorder you always worry about when adopting dogs.
